Danielle Gauntlett

Danielle Gauntlett has been coaching at Inland Empire Gymnastics Academy since it opened in 2004.  No stranger to the challenges and rewards that the sport of gymnastics provides, Danielle spent over 12 years as a competitive gymnast, reaching Level 10.   After a successful career as a competitive gymnast, Danielle now focuses her energy and efforts on coaching other athletes to achieve the same success. Danielle enjoys watching young children grow in to successful young ladies, and prides herself on teaching far more than just gymnastics. Danielle has been coaching professionally since 1999, and she also teaches summer school at a local elementary school. Danielle is First Aid & CPR certified, Safety Certified through USAG, and a professional member of USA Gymnastics. Danielle is constantly looking to learn more about the sport of gymnastics and annually attends national, regional and local congresses, clinics, and coaching seminars in an effort to bring “best practices” back to our gym.

Danielle coaches all levels at Inland Empire Gymnastics Academy, however her primary focus is the development, oversight and coaching of our Women’s USAG Competitive Program Levels 4-8.

Jeremy Rivera

Jeremy Rivera has been coaching at Inland Empire Gymnastics Academy since 2004.  A “man of many hats”, Jeremy’s talents in and out of the gym are quite diverse, including cheer, tumbling, and gymnastics.  Jeremy’s cheer background includes coaching and choreographing for nationally ranked junior high and high school squads since 1999, as well as being on staff for 9 years with United Spirit Association.  Jeremy also keeps current on the “latest in cheer” as a member of the nationally ranked PACE Empire All-Stars team in Westminster.  Jeremy is AACCA and USASF certified in Tumbling Levels 1-5, Baskets Level 2-5, and Partner Stunts 1-5.  In the gymnastics world, Jeremy is a professional member of USA Gymnastics for both men’s and women’s gymnastics and is safety certified.  He has coaches everything from recreational to competitive classes for girls and boys.

Jeremy is the Head Coach of our gym’s nationally ranked All-Star competitive cheer team - IMPACT elite and our AAU Boys Team coach.  He also leads our tumbling program and coaches recreational girls and boys gymnastics classes.

Vicki Galeano

Vicki Galeano began coaching at Inland Empire Gymnastics Academy in 2009, however her experiences in the “gymnastics world” are quite extensive. Vicki trained and competed in both the United States and in Columbia, South America.  Finishing her competitive career as a Level 9, Vicki turned to the coaching arena and has been training competitive gymnasts since the age of 17.  (As an interesting side note: Vicki even coached our own coach Danielle for a brief time!)  Vicki feels privileged to be able to do the one thing she loves the most, which is teaching children gymnastics, but she believes that the “lessons between the flips” are just as important.  Developing young people with character, drive, and high self-esteem is the bi-product of a great gymnastics program.  Vicki is First Aid & CPR certified, Safety Certified through USAG and is a professional member of USA Gymnastics in both women’s artistic gymnastics and men’s gymnastics.

Vicki coaches all levels at Inland Empire Gymnastics Academy, however her primary focuses are our team “lead-up” classes (Power Kid & Mighty Mites) and our Women’s USAG Competitive Program Levels 4-8.

Kayla Lotos

A former Inland Empire Gymnastics Academy gymnast, and currently a member of our IMPACT elite All-Star team, Kayla began working at IEGA in 2008 assisting in the preschool classes.   Today she is a Tumble Kids coach, teaching preschool gymnasts three days per week.  Kayla is a senior at Arrowhead Christian Academy in Redlands and plans on attending college when she graduates.  Kayla is also a member of PACE Empire All Star Cheer on their Level 5 team

Kayla coaches Tumble Tykes, Tumble Kids, and Play Gym classes at Inland Empire Gymnastics Academy.

Jacki Rich

Jacki Rich is has been teaching preschool gymnastics at Inland Empire Gymnastics Academy since it opened in 2004. Her fun loving, gentle nature makes her perfectly suited for teaching our youngest gymnasts. In addition to teaching, Jacki is our Booster Club President and helps to organize all the meets hosted by IEGA. Jacki also has a daughter who is currently a Level 4 gymnast

Jacki coaches Tumble Tykes, Tumble Kids, Play Gym and Family Gym classes at Inland Empire Gymnastics Academy.

Katie Willis

Katie Willis is the owner of Inland Empire Gymnastics Academy.  A former elementary school teacher and district administrator with San Bernardino City Unified School District, Katie’s interest in gymnastics developed alongside her oldest daughter Maggie.  When Maggie’s gym decided to close its doors, Katie chose to open her own program, rather than drive her daughter, five days a week, to another community for training. Though never a gymnast herself, Katie has come to love the sport of gymnastics and all that it can provide for young people.  Katie can often be heard saying “you don’t have to be a competitive gymnast to love gymnastics and get something out of it…gymnastics offers something for everyone!”

Though most of Katie’s time is spent in the office, she does get a chance to “get out on the floors” and do the thing she loves the most…teaching!  Katie coaches our Tumble Kids classes.
